I was never a big fan of Southern Comfort until I was searching for new cocktails that used it and came across the Southern Driver.  It’s like an old fashioned with Southern Comfort to cut the whiskey a bit and add a bit of sweetness and mystery.  My preferred whiskey for this drink is Maker’s Mark, which I think makes a big difference!
