The first time I had a paper plane I was struck by the wonderful combination of flavors.  At the time, amaro and Aperol were a bit unknown to me and this cocktail was a great introduction!  It’s well-balanced with everything working in harmony, though you could throw the balance off a little with more bourbon, if you feel so inclined!
