TIKI CROSS
This is a “new” tiki drink that I found online from Kettner Exchange in San Diego a few years ago and has become one of my favorites. It also introduced Black Walnut Bitters to me for the first time and it’s been fun to play around with those in other drinks since.
Recipe
3/4 oz Light Rum
3/4 oz Dark Rum
3/4 oz Navy Strength Rum
1/4 oz Curacao (orange liqueur)
1/4 oz Falernum
3/4 oz Lime juice
1/2 oz Orgeat
1 oz Pineapple juice
Black Walnut Bitters
Dark rum float
Nutmeg zest
Combine all ingredients through the bitters in a cocktail shaker. Fill shaker with ice and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled. Strain into collins glass filled with crushed ice. Float rum on top and zest nutmeg on top of ice.
