PALOMA
The Paloma cocktail is one of my favorite cocktails that features grapefruit juice. Recipes may differ a bit on the quantity and quality of grapefruit juice but, like with most juice drinks, I think it’s important to squeeze fresh juice. I also like to use mezcal in addition to blanco tequila to add a bit of smoky mystery to the concoction.
Recipe
1.5 oz Blanco Tequila
3/4 oz Mezcal
1 oz Grapefruit juice
1/2 oz Lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker two-thirds full with ice and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled, 15 seconds. Strain into collins glass filled with ice.
