BOOKERS NOTION
I found this recipe several years ago when looking for cocktails using Amaro. This has been a regular in my rotation since. It’s a well-balanced combination that is a particularly nice after dinner drink.
Recipe
1 1/2 oz Bourbon
3/4 oz Amaro
1/4 lemon, juiced
1/2 tangerine or orange, juiced
1 tsp Maraschino cherry liquid
3 dashes Angostura and orange bitters
Maraschino cherry garnish
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled. Double Strain into stemmed glass with cherry on bottom.
