BLACKBERRY BRAMBLE The Blackberry Bramble cocktail is one that finds its way into my rotation any time I see a deal on blackberries at the store. Muddling some on the bottom as a bit of mystery to the drink as does the combination of gin and brandy. An excellent choice for a warm day’s sundowner!

GEORGIA PEACH I created the Georgia Peach cocktail when looking for a summery bourbon cocktail. There’s a lot going on with lime juice, peach liqueur, and ginger syrup but the proportions balance each other nicely in this one. I prefer to use Maker’s Mark in this one but other bourbons or a rye will work
CHARMIDES COCKTAIL I think I discovered this cocktail while searching for drinks with absinthe. I typically use Herbsaint instead and the combination with the grapes and Angostura bitters lays a nice foundation for this refreshing cocktail! JUNGLE BIRD There are a few drinks that my wife prefers not to partake of and this is one of them. She nicknames this one “Dr. Pepper”. Not sure I agree as I like the complexity of the super dark Blackstrap rum with the Campari in this drink, which I find very enjoyable. Recipe 1

SOUTHERN DRIVER I was never a big fan of Southern Comfort until I was searching for new cocktails that used it and came across the Southern Driver. It’s like an old fashioned with Southern Comfort to cut the whiskey a bit and add a bit of sweetness and mystery. My preferred whiskey for this drink
