The Adderley is a cocktail that we’ve nicknamed “The Elixir” at home.  Any time we feel the slightest hint of a cold coming on, we make a round of these and we’re good to go!  The combination of lemon and whiskey with the maraschino to mellow it out is a nice combination.  It’s a good drink to play around with different ryes and is good with bourbons, too.
