IRISH CHRISTMAS PUNCH
This Irish Christmas Punch recipe is an attempt to recreate a holiday cocktail I enjoyed at an Irish bar in Minnesota a few years back. I think I dialed up the whiskey from the original drink. Also, this is a good drink for cheaper orange and amaretto, since there are so many things going on. The Trader Joe’s Amaretto was a good choice here!
Recipe
2 oz Jameson or other Irish Whiskey
3/4 oz Amaretto
1/2 oz Triple Sec
2 oz Cranberry Juice
Small lime and candied cranberry garnish
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker two-thirds full with ice and shake vigorously until thoroughly chilled, 15 seconds. Strain into rocks glass over large ice cube. Garnish with lime slice and speared candied cranberries.
